How it works
1. Pick a folder
Usually Downloads. wtfile waits until each file has finished downloading before it looks.
2. It reads the document
Type, dates, organization, totals, addresses. In English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
3. It renames, or asks
Confident? Renamed. Not sure? It waits in Review for you. A wrong name is worse than no name, so it doesn't guess.

- Never overwrites or deletes a file. Name clashes become

Questions
Is it safe to let an app rename my files?
wtfile never overwrites or deletes anything, every rename can be undone in one click, and when it isn't sure it asks instead of guessing. It only touches the folders you choose.
Does it use AI?
No. wtfile reads documents with rules that run on your computer, so nothing is sent to an AI service. Unusual layouts go to Review instead of getting a guessed name.
Do I need an account?
No. Download it, pick a folder, done. If you buy Pro, you get a license key to paste in. Activating it needs the internet once; after that it works offline.
What happens after 25 free renames?
New suggestions wait in Review. Undo, history and settings keep working, and nothing is locked or deleted.
Can I use one license on two computers?
A Pro license works on one computer at a time; Business works on 5 or 10. Moving to a new computer? Remove the license on the old one in Settings → License, or free your computers here if the old one is gone.
Do I have to pay for updates?
No. Pro is a one-time purchase and every future update is included. wtfile installs them for you if you allow it.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Email hello@getwtfile.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. You can also try the free version first.
What if I uninstall it?
